The official Latin American voice of the popular Youtube Channel "Smosh", Patricio Maulén, tells us about his personal experiences, some of the events of his work through this intensive "Question & Answer Interview". 1- What does your job consist of?
I'm in charge of the translation and dubbing into Spanish of the popular American show of youtube called "Smosh" in which I give my voice to the protagonists, Ian and Anthony besides of presenting my own show called "El Smosh Pit de la semana"
2- When did your idea of making videos on internet begin?
Well, my idea of making videos began before uploading them, I started uploading videos to internet in 2008, and what I actually did was to dub anime series and videos from English into Spanish on youtube just for pleasure and entertainment. Nevertheless, my videos began to become popular throughout the time and suddenly I started to be followed by many people on internet, obviously this was never my intention, as I said before, I just do this for pleasure and hobby. Morevover I have to say that I felt very ashamed of recording videos of myself, that's why I preferdubbing instead of recording videos of me. Something that makes me feel good is that people seem to appreciate my job by the nice coments that they write on my videos.
