Message from the Director of Academics

Dear Fanwood Family and Friends,
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!  I am delightfully pleased to welcome you to THE Fanwood community, where
faculty members value positive learning experiences.  One of my goals is to work on the partnership between the faculty
members, and students and their families, in order to support our students in reaching their highest potential. 
As we look forward to welcoming our students back in September, it is my goal to work with parents, students, teachers, and
community members to ensure positive learning experiences. We are here to support our students and provide them with the
tools to reach their fullest potential.  
This year, we will support our Educational Vision Plan by establishing new programs, such as the Center for Language and
Literature (CLL),  and also by continuing to provide the following exciting and beneficial programs: 
• STEAM classes / activities
• Achieve3000, Differentiated Online Instruction Program for Grades 3 and up
• Academic Intervention Services (AIS) for Grades 3 and up
• Center for Exploration and Creative Learning (CECL)
• Additional instruction time in English Language Arts
