Fanwood Tornadoes Spring Athletics The 2018 Lady Tornadoes Track & Field team finished in 9th place with 7 points overall. The 2018 boys' Track & Field team finished in 6th place with 28 points overall. The 2018 Softball team ended their season at the Dennis Palka Tournament hosted by American School for the Deaf. The hard-working student-athletes earned 3rd place, finishing their season with a 1-6 season.    Announcements We are excited to share that the National Deaf Interscholastic Athletic Association (NDIAA) has selected John Diehl as the 2018 Girls Basketball Coach of the Year! A former player, Coach Diehl has excelled over the past decade as a basketball coach for boys and girls.  Coach Diehl’s philosophy includes that by being on a team you learn not only the sport, but, more importantly, life skills that you can carry with you forever. His success is seen through his on- court success, and his off-court positive impact is realized through each of his players’ lives. Congratulations to John Diehl on being selected the NDIAA Girls Basketball Coach of the Year!   SAVE THE DATE Homecoming is Saturday, October 26, 2018 AND, the same weekend, we will host the 38th Annual ESDAA Volleyball Tournament (October 26 & 27).
