Eileen Page
Teaching Assistant
Eileen has worked at
NYSD for over a year as a
Substitute Teaching
Assistant in our K/1st
class. She has her BA in
English Literature and is
the director for Camp
Iroquois during the
summer. Eileen will be
joining our Bridge
program in the 5th grade
group.
Rachel Releford
Teacher
Rachel has her MS in
Deaf Education and
her BA in
Communication
Sciences and
Disorders.
Rachel was here at
NYSD from January
through March to fulfill
her student teaching
requirement and is
now a full time
Teacher.
Pam Pritzker-Ridley
Director of Curriculum
& Instruction
Diana Pelchuck
Teaching Assistant
Diana has worked at
Millneck for the past
ten years and at
Arizona School for
the Deaf and Blind for
three years prior to
that. Diana has her AAS
degree in Liberal Arts
and is a professional
dog groomer.
Patricia Romano
Payroll/Benefits
Coordinator
Patricia comes to us
with many years of
experience in a
payroll position
using ADP.
For four years,
Patricia worked in a
private school in
their accounting
office.
Pam has her BA in Fine Arts and
her MS of Science for Teachers.
She holds a NYS certification in
School Building Leadership,
Special Education, and Visual
Arts. Pam is also a certified ASL
interpreter. She joins us most
recently from the NYCDOE, as
the Arts Matter Program
Coordinator. For 3 years prior,
Pam was a Special Ed teacher.
Jessica Sloan
Teacher
Jessica joins us from Ohio
where she was a certified
Teacher of the Deaf.
Jessica worked at Ohio
School for the Deaf since
2012 before moving to NY
for a position at NYSD.
She has her BA in Deaf
Education and her MS in
Educational Leadership.
Barbara Wingfield
ASL/English Bilingual
Specialist
Barbara has her BS in
Social Work and her
MS in Deaf Ed. Barbara
is also certified in Deaf
Ed and Social Studies.
Most recently, she
worked at Rocky
Mountain Deaf School
as the ASL Arts
Teacher/ Specialist.
Prior to that, Barbara
worked at Rochester
School for the Deaf, for
20 years.
