The Sea Creature
One day, William, the son of a bookseller, decides to go looking for a book on sea creatures in his father's library. After several hours of search, with the help of his father, William finds one and begins to leaf through it. Once he arrives at the middle of the book, he provokes a seaquake. At one point, the father enters the library and asks if he has taken the sea creatures book and snatches it from his hands.
Two years later, William has a vivid memory in his head, as if it has happened the day before, so his father decides to explain the cause of the aquatic phenomena.
He then takes him to the city port and invites him onto his dead grandfather’s boat, which he had left him upon his death. Then, both of them decide to go out on the open sea all night and his father tells him to open the book halfway through. After a couple of minutes, the seaquake starts, the boat starts to sway, and William and his father risk falling into the water.
