Kali Monroe
Crayons, paint, chalkboards, construction paper...yes, this is how it all began. A child alone in her room, finding ways to express the expansive space in her mind....and heart. Born to two very artistic parents, Kali has always been an artistic mind and heart. Graphics is a mere tip to a very colorful iceberg. Not only is she proficient in creative art, but she's also a writer/poet, a self-taught cook, a crafter and has the natural gift of singing and love of music. If you were to ask anyone who knew her in school, what she'd be, they'd almost all say some kind of writing or art. All of her spiral notebooks were peppered with sketches of people and things. Scenes, stories, and ideas all drawn (and sometimes colored) out on college-ruled paper. For every homework assignment there were ten doodles. There is no question that Kali has found her niche in graphic design where she's able to take her love for colors, unique expression and perfectionism to a maturer business level. Every day is a learning experience, a source of inspiration and a new way to see life for our head Fancy Face. Stay tuned to the upcoming spread of her influence. She might even fancy YOUR face!
