According to visualdata.dw.de in it´s article “In Numbers: Education Around the World” “The longer people attend school, the better their chances are of earning money. UNESCO's research shows that the average income of people in poor countries increases by up to 10 percent with each additional year of schooling they complete. In countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and South and West Asia, nearly every third child drops out before completing elementary school. In industrial countries, about one in five people stops attending school before the end of their secondary education.”

Visualdata.dw.de in it´s article “In Numbers: Education Around the World” also said “If the world's wealthy nations would spend the same amount on worldwide education for six days as they do on the military, all the children on the planet could be enrolled in school until the year 2015. However, statistics also show that many countries now invest more in education than in the army.”
