Family Caregiver Resource Guide - Albuquerque 1 | Page 18
Caregivers are met with unpredictable and ever-changing responsibilities in caring
for seniors. Where there can be planning for day-to-day events, there are still random
variables which change quickly and without warning. These variables can leave the
caregiver and their loved unsure and searching for solutions. These General Resources
act as a quick guide for the caregiver, and an avenue to find more information on the
necessities available to seniors in a manner that is quick and efficient.
This General Resource section touches upon financial, household, social and other
services for seniors to utilize which affect everyday living. This allows caregivers to
contact individuals with the foremost authority and expertise on certain issues, in
order to provide the most complete and comprehensive care. Phone numbers and
addresses are provided for easy access that you’ll want to be sure to keep handy.
There is no way for a caregiver to be completely prepared for the changing tasks and
hurdles that seniors meet daily, but these resources will equip caregivers with the tools
to maintain daily life for their loved ones, and shed light on issues that many seniors
face regularly.
