It’s not about expecting something in return, it’s about making a change.” These passionate sentiments are from JPS Customer Care Representative, DeOmar Manning, who was recently hailed as the 2014 JPS Foundation Top Volunteer for his consistent contributions to the company’s community and nation building efforts, at the Foundation’s second annual Volunteer Awards on December 4. His win cemented the company’s strong emphasis on community involvement and volunteerism, which gained national recognition on December 1 when JPS was named the Private Sector Awardee for Outstanding Volunteerism from the Council of Voluntary Social Services.
