Department Douglas Bond has worked for Alameda County for 12 years and was inspired by his father to be of public service . “ My father had worked in local government for 40 years in the Probation and Fish and Game Departments ,” recalls Doug , “ Having had that exposure to my father ’ s work instilled in me how much of a positive impact one can have by working in government .”
After initially spending 15 years managing fleets in the private sector for Enterprise- Rent-A-Car , Doug was already well-primed when he saw an opportunity to be of service in local government , accepting the role of managing Alameda
