BUS-ALT Singers Showcase
Age: 21 and up Min / Max: 4 / 12 Location: Slotnick Center / NSSRA, Highland Park
Join your fellow singing enthusiasts as we develop our vocal potential! Participants will gain an appreciation for a variety of music styles and genres while learning new repertoire and singing old favorites. At each rehearsal, singers will also become familiar with performance etiquette, choreography, and movement.

Goals:
There will be a final performance on the last day of the program that all family and friends are invited to attend. Because the fall showcase will only have one season of rehearsal, it will be a smaller production compared to the winter / spring showcase.

SHIELD-E BolT-Lig Horseback Riding
Age: 16 and up Min / Max: 4 Location: Equestrian Connection, Lake Forest
Saddle up! Equestrian Connection is a one-of-a-kind stable that provides therapeutic horseback riding opportunities specifically designed for individuals with disabilities. Participants will experience both recreation and riding through three rotations during the program: riding, groundwork, and a craft. During groundwork, participants will learn and practice grooming techniques.

Please note that riding time is 20 minutes each week.
ɢ NSSRA will send a waiver prior to the program, which must be returned to the NSSRA office by Thursday, September 11. ɢ

As a safety precaution for all participants, those over 250 pounds will do groundwork with horses instead of riding.
Participants must be able to wear an equestrian helmet and gait belt to partake in riding. Participants with physical and medical conditions, please use caution.
Refunds for Horseback Riding are not available after the registration deadline.
