Interview with Aiden
Amber: Hi Aiden, good to see you again! How have you been? Aiden: I had a hard time studying for the test.
Amber: Me too. So, today, I will interview you if you think that phones should be banned at school. Aiden: Okay.
Amber: So, do you usually bring your phone to school? Aiden: Yes.
Amber: What do you think about bringing your phone to school? Aiden: I think bringing my phone to school is quite fun because I can play my favorite game.
Amber: Do you think that there are any differences in the usage of your phones from primary to secondary? Aiden: I think that the difference is that primary can only use their phones at bus but not at lunch time or passing time. But middle school students can use their phones at passing time and lunchtime. They could also use their laptops and devices in class when there are assignments.
Amber: What are the benefits of bringing your phone to school? Aiden: I think the benefits of bringing phones to school is that we can have many chances to communicate with our friends online.
Amber: Wow about the negatives? Aiden: The negative is that student have fewer time to go outside and play and do activities
In middle school, one of my friends says that she thinks that it is fine to bring it and that it should be the students’ decisions. Additionally, my other friend believes phones should be allowed in our school. My opinion is that it is up to themselves. They can choose whether they want to bring it or not. Overall, there is no right or wrong answer to whether phones should be banned in our school.
