There are so many things to love about this time of year — cooler weather , cozy blankets , good books , baked treats and of course pumpkin spice ! With all the wonderful things to enjoy this season , it ’ s also nice to take some time to look back and recall the good things others have said or done for you this year . Here are a few of those encouraging God-given moments that your fellow CRA members wanted to share with you .
“ A YOUNG MAN CAME IN A FEW MONTHS AGO AND ASKED ME IF I REMEMBERED HIM . HE HAD COME INTO THE STORE LAST SUMMER AND WAS LOOKING AT DEVOTIONS AND PRAYER BOOKS . I FELT THE HOLY SPIRIT TELLING ME TO GIVE HIM THE PRAYER BOOK , SO I DID . HE CAME IN TO THANK ME FOR THAT BOOK AND TO ASK IF HE COULD GIVE ME A HUG BECAUSE THAT BOOK HELPED SAVE HIS LIFE . HE WAS CONTEMPLATING SUICIDE AND WAS SEEKING GOD FOR HELP BUT DIDN ’ T KNOW WHAT OR HOW TO PRAY . THE BOOK I GAVE HIM HELPED HIM TO FIND THE WORDS AND THE GOD HE WAS SEEKING . HOW ON EARTH DOES LIFE GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT ?! I WILL NEVER GET FINANCIALLY RICH OWNING A CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE , BUT BOY , THE REWARDS ARE WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN ANY DOLLAR BILL EVER COULD BE . PRAISING GOD FOR HIS ABUNDANT BLESSINGS .”
