Featuring three baseball and softball fields as well as the Miracle League Field , the Field of Miracles is a multi-use sports complex designed to provide athletes of all abilities with a fun place to compete . The complex is considered to be the first in the country to combine a miracle field and regular use softball fields in the same park . Miracle League Baseball utilizes the Field of Miracles during the spring and fall seasons . A rubberized field surface accommodates athletes of all capacities .

Heritage Park is a 72-acre facility that truly offers something for everyone . Team sports thrive at the park ’ s awardwinning baseball and softball complex , championship soccer fields bustle with Cullman United games during the fall , while a multipurpose field , outdoor basketball courts , and a sand volleyball court keep athletes moving . Heritage also houses a dog park with designated spaces for large and small dogs , a full 18- hole disc golf course that threads through the entire park , and multiple playgrounds .
Hurricane Creek Park

Hurricane Creek Park offers some of North Alabama ’ s best hiking and rock climbing nestled inside a 500-feet deep canyon located just off Highway 31 in South Vinemont .
Visitors can spend the day along the four miles of designated hiking trails that wind through the lush woods , unique rock formations and cliff sides of the gorge . Notable locations in the park that were formed by the weathering of natural rock include Twilight Tunnel , the Stairway to Heaven , and Dead Man ’ s Squeeze . Prospective rock climbers will find ample opportunities to scale the park ’ s dozens of climbing faces . There are also picnic tables in an open area near the main creek for those who packed a lunch or simply wish to take a break .
