Recognized as one of the top country music festivals in the nation , Rock the South is a two-day concert featuring some of the biggest names in the business . Founded as a way to help Cullman recover from the 2011 tornadoes , RTS annually donates upwards of $ 100,000 to local charitable partners and organizations . Rock the South brings tourists to the Cullman area in droves , touting at least 60,000 attendees over both days in recent years .

Three stages , two kids zones , an antique and classic car cruise-In , extended retail hours , activities and fresh produce at the Farm Y ’ all farmers ’ market , monthly themes in Depot Park , Artist Alley and accompanying popup shops , a show lot featuring various recreational displays , food trucks and restaurant specials , beverages , and more make for fun-filled evenings for locals and visitors alike .
