It is an honor to introduce myself as the new President of the Glenview Park District Board of Commissioners. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this community and work alongside my fellow commissioners and staff to continue the tradition of providing exceptional parks, recreation and open spaces for everyone to enjoy.

September brings the announcement we’ ve all been waiting for! After being named a National Gold Medal Award finalist for excellence in parks and recreation, Grand Plaque recipients will be announced at the National Recreation and Park Association Conference in Philadelphia, marking the culmination of an exciting journey. We are proud to represent Glenview on the national stage. This recognition reflects the collective efforts of our entire Park District team. Thank you to all of our staff and volunteers at every level; each of you plays an important role, contributing to making honors like this possible.
Get ready to Splash! The Splash Landings renovation project is nearing the finish line! The completely refreshed facility includes a new flume slide and play feature, mechanical and ADA improvements and a new name:
Splash Indoor Aquatic Center. We welcome you to celebrate with us at the Splash Grand Reopening Celebration in mid- September, free for everyone to attend. We hope your family will join us for a ribbon cutting and special open swim.
