Youth Basketball Leagues
Youth Basketball Leagues
Our basketball leagues run for 10 weeks and includes a team jersey for each participant. Parent volunteers serve as coaches at every level.
1st-2nd Grade Basketball: Designed as an introduction to our grade school league, this program includes practices and games held on Sundays at either Park Center or Attea. The first two weeks are dedicated to practice sessions, with the remaining weeks featuring officiated games. Scores are not kept at this level, as the focus is on skill development and enjoyment.
3rd-5th Grade Basketball: Players further develop their skills, and games are held on Saturdays at Park Center or Attea. Parents continue to serve as volunteer coaches. This division follows a regular game schedule with increased focus on competition and teamwork.
6th-8th Grade Basketball: At this level, the league becomes more competitive, with playoffs taking place during weekday evenings in the final week before spring break.
Team Formation Process Teams at each grade level will be formed based on the school that players attend. This approach helps ensure balanced competition across all leagues. Depending on enrollment numbers, some schools may be split into multiple teams.
Reciprocal Friend Requests
Each Player may submit only one friend request. However, the request will only be be honored if it is reciprocal – meaning both players must list each other as their one request. Friendship requests submitted via email or on the " roster note " section of registration will be invalid. The Reciprocal Friend Request form will become available to all registered families on 11 / 3.
Registration Deadline: December 5
Refund Policy: Refunds are available minus a 10 % cancellation fee until teams are formed. After team formation, 50 % of the program fee will be refunded. No refunds will be issued once games begin.
