Travel Basketball Tryouts 2021 / 2022 |

Boys Grades 3-5 Players compete in the North Suburban Basketball League and tournaments in Chicagoland area . All teams play season ending tournament for the North Suburban Basketball League . Independent evaluators evaluate players ’ offensive and defensive skills , and select A & B teams at each age level . Uniform fees are included in the price of the program . Boys Grade 3 Tryouts Team plays a 16-game schedule and participates in a season ending tournament . Team practices one day per week . Players who make a travel team are required to participate in the NCAA Instructional League ( league fee included ). Girls Travel Basketball | Grades 5-8 Represent Highland Park on the court and compete against other feeder programs . Teams are formed at each grade level . Pratices are twice a week beginning in late November , times are determined by coach and player availability . The season begins in December and runs through early March . Boys High School Basketball Prep League |

Grades 9-12 Get your friends together to play in a structured , competitive basketball league . Registration is taken by team only . League is divided into two divisions : Freshman / Sophomore and Junior / Senior . High school basketball team players are not eligible to play in the program . Boys Feeder | Grades 7-8 Players are introduced to the Highland Park Basketball System . Feeder coaches teach the same offensive and defensive principles as the high school staff . Practices are held Wed evenings and Sun afternoons . Games are scheduled against other feeder programs in nearby communities . Games begin in mid-Jan , primarily on weekends , but there may be weeknight games . Players are selected to play on an A , B , or C team . The Highland Park Feeder Basketball System allows everyone to participate , and is a great starter program for future high school players . Highland Park High School coaches and players attend various practices . Players are selected to an A , B , or C Team .
