The 5400 Club
Mondays Lunch 12:00 – 12:30 PM( Bring your own. Dessert and beverages provided.) Program 12:30 – 1:30 PM
This group, consisting of retired and semi-retired men and women, meets each Monday throughout the year. Each meeting features an outstanding guest speaker. Membership in the 5400 Club is open to all male / female Weinstein JCC members 60 +. This group is a selfgoverning organization with its own board, assisted by a Weinstein JCC staff advisor.
Cost: $ 40 per year. This fee includes a wonderful installation brunch
Intro to American Canasta: Beginner

Canasta is all the rage now! Join us to learn this fun and exciting card game from the Rummy Family played with 2 – 4 players. It’ s a great way to meet new people, too! Class size is limited – register early!

Love Canasta? Join Us! If you enjoy playing Canasta and want to meet new people, this group is for you! Drop-in 2:00 – 4:00 PM every Monday year-round. Come for the game, stay for the conversation— dessert and beverages on us.

Fife-Davis Family Annual Jewish Book Fair hosted by the 5400 Club

Every Monday in November, as hosted by the 5400 Club, there will be an author presentation and book talk as part of the Fife-Davis Family Annual Jewish Book Fair. Authors may be virtual or in-person. Specific authors to be announced.

Tuesday Grand Tones

The performing arm of our Active Adult Programs
Preparations are always under way for performances at nursing homes, organizations, hospitals, churches, synagogues, and civic functions. The Grand Tones are now over 50 years running under the direction of our Music Director Betsy Cockriel. If you love music but are not a singer, you are still welcome to join us just to listen, have lunch and socialize!
This program meets every Tuesday year-round and is for adult men and women 60 +. After lunch a diverse selection of activities are offered include current events and intergenerational programs. Many of the holidays are celebrated, including a Chanukah party with the preschool children and a Sweetheart Day luncheon.
Yearly fee: $ 30 member I $ 35 nonmember
Tuesday Chess Drop-In
Tuesdays 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Do you enjoy playing chess but would like to practice getting better? Are you a beginner and would like to play with those on different levels? Then this is the group for you. Come play 2:00 – 4:00 PM. We play every Tuesday. We supply desserts and beverages.
