How to Scan QR Codes A Quick Response code is a barcode that can be scanned using a smartphone or tablet to quickly access information, websites, or other digital content. QR codes are becoming increasingly popular for their ease of use and ability to store a large amount of data.
For modern smartphone devices:
• Launch the camera app on your smart phone.
• Hold your phone steady and point the camera at the QR code. Make sure the code is clearly visible on your screen.
• Your camera will automatically detect the QR code and display a notification at the screen.
• Tap the notification to open the link or content associated with the QR code.
For older smartphones that do not have built-in QR code scanning capabilities:
• Open your device’ s app store.
• Download a QR scanner.
