financial services areas . This is certainly in alignment with generational wealth building .
By broadening MWIS ’ bandwidth , we ’ ll be able to offer tools for wealth generation that go beyond learning how to launch and run a successful business , into making wise investments , implementing beneficial tax strategies , and protecting one ’ s assets – resources that have not been previously accessible to underrepresented and disenfranchised communities and are a vital aspect of implementing true DEI . On top of this , our clients will be able to learn about these options in a supportive environment , from a team that is genuinely looking out for their best interests . I look forward to introducing our clients to HUB , because in every instance , I have felt respected and supported in my interactions with HUB team members and I am eager for our clients to have that same experience .
It ’ s great to be with a partner that is not trying to erase every reference to DEI . We don ’ t need fair-weather friends that drop DEI when it becomes uncomfortable . HUB has clearly already recognized that diversity , equity and inclusion is just smart and good business practice , and they are able to communicate this in a way that is not off-putting . Having a large company like HUB bring greater visibility to how implementing DEI opens up new market opportunities can really help industries understand that , whether or not you like the terminology , it is a practical , productive business-driven decision . Why would you want to shut out and ignore a huge share of your potential market ?
Darren : Our CEO Marc Cohen talks a lot about incremental improvement , week after week , month after month , year after year . What we ’ re trying to do as a company is to get better every day , and in order for us to remain a viable and relevant business , we have to run our business in a respectful and responsible way to make sure that we can continue our work for generations .
