I would like to thank everyone for joining us at our Courtyard Concerts this summer . We hope you all had a blast dancing to your favorite tunes and cooling down with delicious treats !
New this fall , we will be offering a four-part lecture series called the Aging Resource Rendezvous brought to you by your Senior Citizens Committee . The lectures will take place every Wednesday in September , alternating at 12:30pm and 6pm . All lectures are free to attend , but registration is highly encouraged . Sign up at the front desk today ! September 6 at 12:30pm : Overview of Dementia & Recent Research Developments September 13 at 6pm : Understanding the Continuum of Care September 20 at 12:30pm : Sharpen Your Mind September 27 at 6pm : Aging Safely at Home
Tech Tutors will return on September 8 . If you are new here , Tech Tutors is an ongoing program offered by local high school students who come to Sea Country and help seniors with their personal devices such as cell phones and iPads or tablets . This is a free program , but registration is required .
In addition , we will be hosting our first official Sea Country Comedy Club on Thursday , October 5 at 6pm , staring Fritz Coleman ! Fritz is a retired NBC Weathercaster and five-time Emmy Award- Winning stand-up comedian . Be sure to get your tickets early , this event is expected to sell out .
