A Message from City Manager Tamara Letourneau
Hello Laguna Niguel !
Welcome to the Fall of 2022 ! I hope you all had an amazing time at our many fun , summer events , especially at our 2022 Summer Concert Series . I also hope that
you and your family are planning to attend our end-ofthe-summer celebration , the Sea Country Festival , which will be held Friday , August 26th to Sunday , August 28th . It is sure to be a truly memorable experience for your friends and family as we mark the end of summer with music , rides , games , food , and so much more . However , just because the summer is coming to an end , does not mean the fun has to end . I am happy to share that we have several events scheduled this Fall that will provide you with an opportunity to create even more long-lasting memories with your community !
The lineup this Fall will feature a wide array of community events and programs that have become longstanding family traditions here in Laguna Niguel . Some of these events include : the annual Craft Faire , which showcases various local vendors and makers ; the Senior Health Faire , which provides seniors with helpful resources for physical , mental and social health and wellness ; and , of course , the always popular Haunted Trails event , which offers a fun and spooky outdoor Halloween experience . I am also proud to say that our Veterans Day Ceremony will once again be celebrated in-person this November . The Veterans Day Ceremony tradition is important to the community . I can assure that the City team is working hard on these events to make them special for you .
I would also like to take this opportunity to inform the community that we have many capital projects starting in the coming months . Capital projects make improvements to or build upon existing City infrastructure and are part of the adopted Fiscal Year 2022 / 2023 Budget , which was adopted by the Laguna Niguel City Council this past June . The approved capital projects will provide many benefits to the community not only now , but for the future . The capital projects list includes street improvements , landscaping and wall improvements , traffic signal synchronization , park improvements and upgrades at City Hall . I encourage you to visit bit . ly / 2022-23 _ lnbudget to view the City ’ s Adopted Fiscal 2022 / 2023 Operating and Capital Improvement Program Budget .
As you can see , we have a lot planned for the community over the next several months , and we take great pride in serving our wonderful residents . With that being said , please enjoy this Fall 2022 Recreation Brochure that ’ s intended for residents of all ages to enjoy together with their family members , friends , and neighbors .
