Our Christmas holiday is nearing which means that our midterms are not far from us too . Our school has been letting us take our midterms after the Christmas holiday which just does not seem right . Many students in the past complained that they do not perform well after four weeks of fun . Midterms is just as important as final exam because it tests what you learned in 1 semester . Isabel Cheng , a 9th grader , said that she wants to have midterms before the holiday . She stated , “ I have a friend in another school that has midterms before the holiday , and so during the holiday when we were hanging out , she was very relaxed while I was stressing out about the midterms that would come after the break .” Max Yeo , a 8th grader , spoke otherwise . He said that “ I think we should have midterm after the Christmas holiday because we can get more time to study in it .” Having more time to study is the best thing about having exams after the holiday . You will be stressed during the holiday but at least you have a bigger chance of doing well . But do people perform better after the break ?
A 9th grader said that she would not perform better because she said the one week after we are back to school is not enough for her to study . She said all her friends do not study during the holiday , which is for fun and rest . Another 8th grader said that he would perform better after the holiday because he
