The tour continues past the former Gordon Brothers business and down to the former Gowdy Gin Distillery . We will also discuss the Connecticut Central Railroad and the Hartford & Springfield Street Railway trolley . ( Tour starts behind McDonald ’ s Restaurant 585 Hazard Avenue .)

We will visit the final resting places of Colonel Hazard , Orrin Thompson , Martha Parsons , Frank Sheldon , and a few more former Enfield residents . The tour will continue by car to the Old Town Hall Museum , we will park at Enfield Street School . ( Tour starts at Enfield Street Cemetery ( across from Spier Avenue )
