General Education Development courses prepare students in four areas . The GED test is given monthly at the Enfield Annex . Official GED Ready tests ($ 28 value ), with access to all resources and support may be available FREE to students who attend classes and / or lab .

GED PM Course ( Monday Evenings ) Reasoning Through Language Arts / Social Studies Windsor Locks HS – Room 44 6:00 p . m . – 8:00 p . m . Lisa Alpert Class begins September 26 Review reading , grammar and essay writing skills necessary to pass the GED test . The writing process is emphasized . Testing techniques will be discussed .
GED PM Course ( Wednesday Evenings ) Mathematical Reasoning / Science Windsor Locks HS – Room 44 6:00 p . m . – 8:00 p . m . Karen Slattery Class begins September 28 Basic skills will be reviewed to prepare the student for the GED test . Class work will be on an independent basis with an instructor available for individualized help .

HOW TO USE YOUR DSLR CAMERA ( Monday ) Windsor Locks HS - Room 45 Fee $ 29 - 3 sessions – Oct 3rd , 17th , 24th Melanie O ’ Connor - 6:00 p . m . to 7:00 p . m . No Surcharge , No Senior Discount Are you ready to make the switch from “ auto ” to “ manual ” settings ? By the end of the course , students will be able to use their camera on manual settings ! Students will learn what all those buttons and menus do . The topics covered will be : ISO , shutter speed , aperture , composition and more . This class will provide small group and individual attention . Learn from a nationally published , award-winning photographer who is also a local school teacher . Students must bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a charged battery and a memory card . In addition to the class fee , please bring cash or a check for $ 15 directly to the instructor for printed materials on the first day of class .”
