The History of the Auxiliary Blazer Badge Continued

Noted to be issued in the early 1970 ' s , the current official blazer patch is round and contains a wire bullion Auxiliary logo with stars around it on a black felt backing with clutch back pins . The latest representation is the same design , but made with silver metallic thread .
All Auxiliary blazer patches are officially designed and approved by the National Board and offered through the Auxiliary Center ( AUXCEN ).
Just like any other item of Auxiliary outfits , the Blue Blazer has come a long way since it was first introduced . To this day , both blazers and blazer badges play major roles within the Auxiliary and can usually be seen on special occasions , particularly business meetings , social events and banquets , among others . The Blue Blazer appears to be one of those items of Auxiliary clothing that will continue to remain popular for many years to come and so the badges that adorn them will continue to remain as popular .
