Kody Male | 3 years old | Husky Mix

Hi , I ’ m Kody ! I ’ m a Husky Mix who loves his people . I ’ m an energetic guy who would love to run with you or go on adventures . I ’ ve been to training , so I know all my commands , and I ’ m just looking for a good leader who will keep up all the good work I ’ ve done .
I ’ m looking for an active home that will keep me busy . I ’ ve got energy to burn , and I love to play ! Enrichment toys and brain games would be a great way to keep me stimulated during the day . When I was away at training , I absolutely loved the agility courses they had !
When I get all my energy out , I ’ m going to want to cuddle with you . My new home should have lots of comfy places for us to hang out , but it shouldn ’ t have any cats . If I ’ m to live with another dog , their energy level and size should match mine . My future adopters should have dog experience , and research Husky Mixes so they will be informed about what to expect . If there are kids in my future home , they should be 14 years or older . If you ’ ve been looking for a spunky new friend , you ’ ve found him !

Hi , I ’ m Thunder ! I originally came to WSHS from a hoarding case that made national news . Needless to say , my past life was not good . Since I ’ ve been here , I ’ ve learned all about what it takes to be a good dog , and live in this great big world ! My curiosity and confidence have absolutely bloomed , and the scars from my past life are almost completely invisible . Oh how resilient us dogs can be !
Nowadays , the people who know me say I act like a dude . Basically , I ’ m very low-key . I don ’ t really bark , I don ’ t ask for a ton of exercise , and I ’ m really a respectful housemate . I ’ m a year round best-friend : I would love hanging out at the family BBQ in the summer , snuggling on the couch with my PSL and cozy blankets to watch spooky movies in the fall , snoring under your Christmas tree in the winter , and of course , romping through the muddy puddles in the spring !
When it comes to other animals , given my past , I ’ ve lived with a lot of them . Now that I ’ ve upgraded in life , I ’ ve earned myself the ability to be a little bit more selective about my 4-legged friends . I can co-exist with most other animals in short spurts . For instance , at our back yard BBQ ’ s , I don ’ t mind if there are other dogs around , or if my dog-sitter has a cat that lives in it ’ s own bedroom . I ’ ve made animal friends at the shelter . Usually , we lay in the grass and sunbathe together . I really am not much of a player , and don ’ t appreciate when other dogs try to make me play with them , but if my new family has a dog in their life who is as laid back as I am , we could spend a decent amount of time together . Ultimately , I think I would prefer to live with humans only from now on , but if it was the right canine companion , I could co-exist in a home .
