In addition, Gadsden State retrains existing employees and promotes local and state workforce development initiatives that meet employer needs. There are career technical programs that require two years or less to complete. Students also have the opportunity to take two years of courses at Gadsden State before transferring to a four-year university or college. The Skills Training Division offers many short-term, non-credit training programs, and Adult Education Services offers courses in General Equivalency Diploma preparation, High School Diploma Option, English Language Acquisition and Ready-to-Work certification.
