They are extremely caring and personal with all the students.” He plays Varsity Basketball, Baseball, and Cross Country for Eastwood Christian School and has been greatly inspired by all of his Eastwood coaches over the years who have shown him what a godly man looks like. He is also a member of the Beta Club and a Math Club Officer. Something about Gus that most people don’t realize is how much he loves learning. He is an honor roll student and holds a 4.6 GPA. He advises incoming freshmen to choose their friends wisely and pay attention in classes. what’s next Gus plans to pursue a career in law. His uncle is a lawyer, and he has enjoyed learning about his uncle’s work. PG (parental guidance) rating He shared, “My parents have always pointed me to Jesus and encouraged me to follow Him; this is the most important advice anyone can give.” He wants to be remembered as a godly man who is a good example to those around him. He is proud that his family has a good reputation in business and life. parents’ perspective His mom expressed, “I most admire Gus’ love for the Lord and desire to live his life for Him. Gus’ positive attitude and outlook on life is a blessing to us all. I am thankful for Gus’ positive attitude, willingness to help others, and his love for learning. Whether he is in the classroom or on the ball field, Gus gives all he has.” parent-to-parent Tammy and Woody Dozier gave this advice to other parents, “Be present, spend time with your children, pray together, read God’s word together, and talk about everything.
