Rosewood Interpretive Center Rentals
Hold your next event along the beautiful shores of Lake
Michigan! The Rosewood Interpretive Center is the perfect
spot for group meetings, family gatherings, or birthday
parties.
BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGE
Enjoy a nature-themed birthday party led by our naturalist.
Choose from several age-appropriate themes including:
Luau at the Beach, Pirate Party and Treasure Hunters. (Parties
are 1 ½ hours, and include 30 minutes for the host to lead
party activities on their own in the Interpretive Center.
Party Fee: $290 (15 children maximum)

ROOM RENTAL
Fall Rental Fees: (Two hour minimum, daily until 10pm.)
Residents: $280/2 hours
$140/each additional hour
Non-residents: $410/2 hours
$205/each additional hour
Refundable Cleaning Deposit: $250
Rental includes:
• 70 inch monitor, Blu-ray player, sound system and Wi-Fi
• Refrigerator/Freezer
• Tables and chairs
• Guest Parking
• Use of the Interpretive Center deck and Nature Beach Cove
(no swimming)
One-Day Family & Adult Programs
Stories in the Sand | Adult/Child, Ages 6 mo–6 yrs
Enjoy story time with a naturalist, take a short sensory hike and
create a natural craft to take home. Pre-Registration required.
Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult.

Fossils, Bones, & Stones | Ages 5- Adult
Dig in the sand for fossils, bones, and stones like paleontologists
do. Look at real fossils and stones, while learning why we can
find them at Rosewood Beach, and start to build your own rock
museum. Min/Max: 8/20. This is a Heller Nature Center run
program, please see page 52 for registration details.

Seek and Find Wildlife at Rosewood | All Ages
Become an expert at plant and animal identification with Seek
an app by I-Naturalist. We will teach you how to use this new
tool that instantly identifies the world around us. We’ll explore
outdoors seeking out new wildlife and snapping pictures. The
hidden world of plants and animals will be exposed so you can
seek again and again. Min/Max: 20.

World Fish Migratory Day Celebration | All
Ages
Join us in this global celebration of migratory fish and
their waters. Join us for fish printing, trout & white sucker
monitoring, recycled art, and a showing of the film “Love Flows”
(every 35min).

Birding 101 | Ages 8-Adult
Few animals put on as much of a show as birds. What better
way to view this then on the shores of Lake Michigan where
we will teach you how to spot birds, help to identify them, and
provide some fun information about the ones we see. Min/Max:

Ravine Rangers | Grades K-3
Discover the wonders of Lake Michigan and our varied lakefront
habitats, such as the dunes, ravines and bluffs through
exploration, experimentation and fun! Program is entirely
