Events & Workshops
Baker & Bloom is not only a community for students but also for families. Twice a
month, we hold events to inform and connect with our parents, exploring and sharing
the latest and greatest in all things education-related.
Parent Seminars
Our 60-minute seminars are delivered by our exceptional
educators and partners to explore the shared
experiences, checkpoints, and milestones of every
child's education. Past topics have included:
• Learning in the 21 st Century
• Making the Most of Summer
• STEM Done Right: An Expert Opinion
• Medicine as a Career
Student & Family Workshops
We also host student and parent workshops that involve a bit more
audience participation! These are 3-hour long interactive sessions in which our
teachers craft an authentic Baker & Bloom learning experience for your child and
you. Past workshops have covered:
• Boarding School Essay Brainstorming
• How to Raise Fearless Readers & Writers
• Digital Media Literacy
• A Super Learner in the Digital Age
Deep-Dive Day
Our brand new Deep-Dive Days are day-long
bootcamps that give students the opportunity
to delve into a given topic such as the future
of work, deliberate practice, smart cities,
digital media design and spend a day
immersed in learning. We believe that this is
the best way to get students to tackle some
of the most pressing issues of today.
