JAX MVP
The Jaguars in partnership with Gunster, have created a unique opportunity for a select group
of local emerging leaders to join the fourth annual JAX MVP class to engage in exclusive
networking and leadership development opportunities while supporting the Jaguars Foundation
and the Jacksonville community.
MVPs are selected to participate by their CEOs or senior staff. This group meets at the stadium
for a monthly leadership meeting March-October. The Jaguars staff that runs the program – the
JAX MVP Committee – brings in various guest speakers including members of the Jaguars
leadership team, shares different literature on leadership, allows opportunities to network and
grants VIP access to Jaguars events and facilities. This part of the program is focused on the
creation and support of the next Jacksonville leaders.
One of the key leadership objectives
is to share, through experience, the
importance non-profi t organizations
represent to vibrant communities.
As such, one important aspect of the
JAX MVP experience will include
fundraising. The members are given
support by the Jaguars to develop and
implement creative ideas to achieve
their fundraising goals. Each MVP is
challenged to raise $5,000 over the
course of the program. Funds raised
contribute directly to the Jacksonville
community through the Jaguars
Foundation. Over $350,000 has been
raised for the Jaguars Foundation
since the program’s inception in 2016.
