Dark Matter Maps
Through the James Webb Telescope, scientists have been able to create maps of dark matter. This has led to scientists producing a high-resolution map which shows how dark matter bends incoming light. This map shows where invisible dark matter is concentrated and how it connects to galaxies across the universe. The map covers about 800,000 galaxies and shows the dark matter in blue which overlaps with the visible matter which are the galaxies in white.
