By The Falcon Flyer Staff
Saddle Brook High School/Middle School's production of "The Addams Family" was an absolute delight from start to finish, showcasing the incredible talent of its students and the dedication of its teachers and director, Frank Ortega, alongside vocal coach Malcolm Couden. This production brought Charles Addams' iconic characters to life in a way that was both faithful to the original material and infused with the unique energy and creativity of the Saddle Brook community.
At the heart of the production were the stellar performances by the cast, led by the dynamic duo of A.J. Stanchfield as Gomez and Victoria Billack as Morticia. Stanchfield brought charisma and charm to the role of Gomez, capturing the patriarch's suave demeanor and quick wit with precision. Meanwhile, Billack exuded elegance and grace as Morticia, embodying the character's dark allure and dry humor with aplomb.
Christian Lindberg delivered a standout performance as the eccentric Uncle Fester, infusing the character with warmth and humor that endeared him to the audience. Bexx Sapinski brought a perfect balance of sweetness and sass to the role of Wednesday, while Tanner Nosch captured the mischievous spirit of Pugsley with boundless energy.
Jayla Pierre's portrayal of Grandma was delightfully quirky, and Jeremy Payano's interpretation of Lurch was both stoic and surprisingly endearing. Vidda Del Orbe, Patrick Kohrherr, and James Jacobson rounded out the principal cast with memorable performances as the Beineke family, each bringing their own unique flair to their respective roles.
