CHEER TRIUMPHS
The Falcon Cheerleaders had another stellar season. The successful Falcon 2022 cheer season was led by seniors Cassidy Cue, Lauren LaMonte, Rebecca Jaramillo, Mara Doremus, Brianna Ciannamea, Alyssa Leto, and Ava Parisi. The Competition Cheer team excelled all year and took 2nd place in the state competition. They also took a trip to Florida for the National Competition Cheerleading Championships In addition to those fantastic results, they were undefeated locally. They had a total of seven 1st place wins and they were designated Grand Champions twice. They excelled in each and every venue they performed at from the Impact competition at Brookdale Community College, all the way to Americheer competition in Orlando Florida.
This season saw the team push their limits to perform more challenging routines. The cheer team is now entering their off season and they plan to spend their time celebrating the seniors and preparing for next season. All of the cheerleaders have learned valuable lessons from their demanding sport. Cheerleading has made them more well rounded, hard working, improved their social skills, communication, and time management. The girls all worked extremely hard and their ambition to win was strong all year. We all look forward to seeing what successes come their way next year.
