Recently, a new trend in men’s fashion has gone viral! What is this trend, you ask? Well, the Neumel, a type of Ugg boot that first became popular around the autumn season, is now seen all around town and is taking over the school! The Neumel style boot is a short-cut ugg boot designed for men, but can be worn by women as well. The new Ugg boot is super casual, and looks cozy and trendy at the same time. These boots can be found on the Ugg website or at Ugg stores across the country. Near Saddle Brook, you can find them at many places including Nordstrom or Journey’s. You will definitely want to go pick up a pair of these super cute boots before they go out of style! They are a bit on the expensive side for men’s footwear and cost about $130, but these boots are still a purchase worth making. When you look down the hallway, these boots will be all that you see this winter season. Many students have already hopped on the trend, and if you haven’t yet, go out and splurge! You deserve a good quality pair of boots that will last you a long period of time, don’t you?
Three words: fuzzy is in! One of the biggest fashion statements for women this winter season hands down goes to the infamous bear jackets. Look around school and you will find many teenage girls rocking this style. Inspired by the teen icon and well-known youtuber Emma Chamberlain, these types of furry jackets have been seen everywhere from California, all the way to Saddle Brook, New Jersey! Fuzzy jackets are a 2019 Instagram sensation, and will not be going out of style any time soon, so be sure to head to your local Urban Outfitters or Garage store. These jackets tend to be more expensive, but you can expect that with the great quality you get. They are definitely worth your money, so keep up with this pop-up trend and grab one for yourself while you still can.

ND: Do you have any concerns for the school?
RS: I have already touched upon the student leadership aspect. One of my other concerns for improving the school is increasing the number of students attending four-year colleges. I am coming from a school in which 95% of its graduates are going to four year schools after graduation. Here in Saddle Brook, that number is around 45%. I’d love to see that improve, although I certainly value students that have chosen to go into the workforce, the military or to attend two-year schools.
