Starship Flights
Starship is almost 400 feet tall when combined with its booster, making it significantly larger than previous rockets. It is the most powerful rocket system ever built and one of its most important roles is to support NASA’s Artemis program. The rocket successfully completed its 12th test flight in May 2026 and is preparing for Flight 13. NASA will use Starship for Artemis missions beginning with Artemis III and eventually on Artemis IV, which is planned to land humans on the Moon in 2028.
New Luxury Spacesuits?!?
NASA has partnered with Axiom Space and Prada to develop the next generation Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) spacesuit for the Artemis lunar missions. The suit will include a Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG) which will be on the layer worn directly against the skin of the astronaut.
