Falcons Shine on the State Stage
The season culminated at the NJSIAA Group 1 State Championships, where Saddle Brook earned three Top-8 finishes against the best teams in New Jersey.
The boys 4x100-meter relay team of Brandon Betances, Nelson Ehirim, Dylan Tuohy, and Dimitri Clarke placed sixth in the state with a time of 43.93 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Dimitri Clarke, Nelson Ehirim, Dylan Rios, and Dylan Tuohy followed with a seventh-place finish in 3:29.34, earning another state medal.
The Falcons' distance relay team of Dylan Rios, Jordan Crews, Nikolas Pinto, and Alex Forgy qualified for the state meet and represented Saddle Brook in the 4x800-meter relay.
The girls program also made its mark at the state championships. Raya Thomas, Gracie Ciappina, Olivia Poplawski, and Mikaela Orlando combined for an outstanding sixth-place finish in the Girls 4x800-meter relay, crossing the line in 10:26.52 and earning a place among New Jersey's top distance relay teams.
