Falcons Sprint to One of Their Strongest Seasons

The Saddle Brook track and field team delivered one of the program's most successful seasons in recent years, earning championships, county medals, sectional medals, and multiple Top-8 finishes at the NJSIAA Group 1 State Championships. Throughout the spring, the Falcons showcased exceptional depth in the sprints, relays, jumps, middle-distance events, and throws, establishing themselves as one of the top Group 1 programs in North Jersey.
Success at the NJIC Colonial Division Championships
The postseason began with a strong performance at the NJIC Colonial Division Championships, where the Falcons captured two division titles and numerous medal-winning performances.
Senior Dylan Tuohy earned an individual championship in the Long Jump with a leap of 20'3" while also placing second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.68. Nelson Ehirim added a runner-up finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in 23.36 seconds.
The Falcons also claimed the NJIC Colonial Division Championship in the 4x400-meter relay, finishing first in 3:34.39. Saddle Brook's depth was further on display in the 800 meters, where Jaiden Sarmadi, Dylan Rios, and Jordan Crews all placed among the top seven finishers. Freshman Donovan Carberry added a fourth-place finish in the shot put.
