FALCONS

GIRLS LACROSSE

SHOW Perseverance, Progress, and a View Ahead

The Saddle Brook/Garfield girls lacrosse team continued to make strides this spring under the leadership of Head Coach Deandra Donato. While the team finished with a 1-10 record, the season was filled with valuable growth, memorable performances, and encouraging signs for the future of the program. Throughout the season, the Falcons demonstrated resilience and determination while competing against a challenging schedule. Despite facing experienced opponents, the team continued to work hard, improve, and support one another both on and off the field.

Sophomore Abigail Beecham emerged as one of the team's brightest stars, leading the Falcons with 26 goals and 40 draw controls. Beecham consistently made an impact in all areas of the game, helping create scoring opportunities while also winning possession for her team. Her strong season gives the Falcons an exciting player to build around moving forward.

Senior Rachel Rosales provided leadership and experience throughout her final season. Rosales finished the year with 20 goals and 20 ground balls, serving as a reliable contributor and an important role model for her younger teammates. Her dedication to the program and willingness to lead by example helped establish a positive culture for the team.

In goal, junior Vidda Del Orbe was a standout performer, recording an impressive 145 saves. Facing a high volume of shots, Del Orbe repeatedly came through with key stops and kept the Falcons competitive in many contests. Her effort, toughness, and consistency were critical to the team's success.
