"Over the past six years in the music program, I’ve truly experienced personal growth. This program creates such a strong sense of community that it feels like we’re all one big family. There have been plenty of ups and downs, but I can honestly say it has all been worth it. I’ve learned the importance of bravery, resilience, and hard work. Whether in band or choir, I discovered that achieving something great requires effort. If I wanted a particular piece to shine, I had to put in the hard work to make it happen. Participating in the musical helped me break out of my shell and gain confidence. In those moments, it felt like all my personal struggles vanished, and I could truly express myself. The teachers who inspired me the most are Mr. Ortega and Mr. Couden. Even during challenging times, they never gave up on me. Their support has motivated me to further my education and pursue a career as a music teacher, so I can provide the same encouragement they offered me."
