A REVIEW OF THE SOFTBALL SEASON

Spring Training - The Lady Falcons started their season late March in sunny Orlando, Florida, where they played numerous games against local Tri-State area competition. They learned to not only bond on the field, but also off the field as they spent their time together in the Universal Parks and other collaborative activities. The trip was an overall success, and helped prepare the team for their first game against Hasbrouck Heights with experience already under their belt.
Overall Season/Record - This year has been a tremendous improving year for the Lady Falcons, as most of the roster includes junior and senior athletes. The Falcons ended their season with an almost .500 record of 12-14 in comparison to their 8-17 record the year before. They were 7-3 in their NJIC Liberty League, in which they upset the reigning league champions, Ridgefield for the second time. The girls progressed their way into the first round of the state tournament against Waldwick, where they competed against talented competition, but unfortunately fell short.
