Last week, the music department of our esteemed high school took center stage at the renowned High Note Festival in Pennsylvania. It was a momentous occasion for both the band and the chorus, as they delivered exceptional performances and received marks of Superior. Under the guidance of the talented band director, Frank Ortega, and the esteemed choir director, Malcolm Couden, our students showcased their musical prowess and brought home well-deserved accolades.

The band's repertoire featured a diverse range of musical genres. They played Washington Post, Chant and Jubalo, and a Gershwin Medley. The musicians flawlessly harmonized their instruments, creating a symphony of sound that resonated with the judges and spectators alike.
