BOYS LAX SHOWS GRIT
The Saddle Brook High School boys lacrosse team, led by Coach Ryan Cumings, faced a challenging season this year, finishing with a record of 2-10. Despite the win-loss ratio, this team's journey was about much more than numbers on a scoreboard. It was a season of growth, perseverance, and invaluable lessons that will shape the players both on and off the field.The team embraced the underdog mentality, knowing that success would not come easily but was achievable through hard work and perseverance.
Throughout the season, the Saddle Brook boys lacrosse team faced formidable opponents, often with more experience and a stronger track record. However, they refused to back down, always giving their best effort on the field. Every practice and game became an opportunity for improvement and a chance to prove themselves.
The team's two victories were hard-fought battles that showcased their growth and progress. Seniors Nicky Accetta, Anthony Coiro, Christian Schobel and Carlos Luis led the team. With each win, they celebrated not only the final score but also the countless hours of practice, the moments of collaboration, and the unwavering support they showed for one another. These victories were a testament to their resilience and determination, reminding them that hard work pays off, regardless of the win-loss column.
