A REVIEW OF THE SOFTBALL SEASON

Overall Season / Record
The Saddle Brook Softball team officially began their season in late March to prepare for their first game against Westwood on April 1st, where they secured a 9-6 win. They went on to play 24 more games and finished off their season with an 8-17 record, and a 7-11 record in the NJIC Meadowlands Division.
This season, over 15 freshmen came out to try out during tryout week, and because of the increase of underclassmen, a JV team was established this year. More than half of the positions on the starting varsity roster were taken by freshmen, and underclassmen dominated the team as a whole.
