Graduating Seniors
At the end of this season, the Saddle Brook Girls Softball team had two graduating seniors on the team: Gracie Leone and Layaal Jaloudi. Gracie led the team at second base and ended the season with a total of 12 RBI’s, 12 runs, and 4 doubles. As for Layaal, she ended her senior season with 5 RBI’s, 4 runs, and 6 singles.
COVID Progression
During this spring sports season, COVID regulations began to lift around the country, and New Jersey high school athletics were no exception. Towards the end of this softball season, the mask mandate was lifted for spring sport athletes, including softball. This meant that the previous requirements for masks on the bus, in dugouts, and meetings with umpires were then eliminated.
