Life is full of obstacles and challenges that occasionally call for support from family and
friends, coupled with the inevitable steps each of us must take. As human beings, we are
in a constant state of learning throughout these steps and challenges. In this regard, life
can be likened to a game of soccer, where we navigate obstacles with a support system in
place. Similar to a soccer game, players accumulate cuts and scrapes, reflecting the
experiences we gather throughout our lives. And once the game concludes, we celebrate,
either with our team or our family.
With that said, the fall season presented a mix of ups and downs. Varsity ended with a
record of 5-13, and JV concluded with a record of 1-7-1. Both teams exerted their utmost
effort and didn't back down without putting up a fight. Agjent Voca, the right midfielder
and a junior starter for Varsity, who has been a team member for two years, remarked,
“This year was definitely not an easy one, but I can confidently say that me and my
teammates tried our hardest for a better outcome, but it just wasn't ideal. This year was
definitely better than last year in ways that we had better communication. Everyone on
the team got closer, whether that was at school, during practices, games, or outside of
school.”
