Recently, artificial intelligence programs have become extremely
well-known among various age groups and fields in tech, business, and
even education. Some of the most well-known platforms used
day-to-day include Chat-GPT, Google AI, Meta AI, and many others as
they can conveniently answer simple questions, solve math problems,
and even generate essays. However, as its popularity grows, many have
brought to light that artificial intelligence potentially poses a threat to
honest education among teenagers today.
While some believe that large language models such as Chat-GPT are
an innovative, accessible tool that is useful for much more than just
homework answers, others also believe that its accessibility is harmful
to students as it allows them to easily cheat on school assignments
within seconds. Specifically, Intelligence discovered through research
studies that among over 1,000 college students, over 30% use AI to
complete school assignments.
Ultimately, it is important to evaluate the advantages as well as the
possible risks of modern technology as it becomes more and more
prominent in our society.
