Falcon Chronicle April 2013

Recently on February 15 2013, a meteor exploded at the skyline of Russia. Thankfully it didn’t hit. If it did, it would probably have had a force of 20 nuclear bombs. However, it did cause a sonic boom with such force that it shattered windows and pummeled doors and other items with no trouble at all. The meteor, when it exploded, broke up into chunks that went all over the area that caused various craters from them hitting the ground. But before it exploded, the meteor was travelling at about a speed of 30 km/s. Can you believe it? I think that was close to the speed of light.

This was an once-in-a-lifetime chance to attract tourists from all over the world to Russia to see the damage from the meteor. I think Russia would use this meteor to attract millions and millions of people to Russia but really? It’s just a meteor. Jeez. Well, some people really exaggerate about some things. Some people who got it on Youtube were lucky and got millions of views but I don’t think that will beat Gangnam style.
